How to get here
Nevern Castle is in Nevern Village, North Pembrokeshire, on a minor road off the A487 between Newport and Cardigan.
The castle is best reached on foot – either by the footpath beside the church wall, or by crossing the big stone bridge and turning left opposite the coach house. There is limited parking at the castle entrance.
Travel along the A487 between Newport and Cardigan and turn down the minor road signposted Nevern. There is limited parking outside the church, on the roadside a little past the church, or a large carpark attached to the pub which customers are welcome to use.
Service bus 412 runs between Cardigan and Newport and stops at the junction of the A487 and the minor road to Nevern. From here it is about a mile into the village.
There are many quiet country lanes around Nevern, but the terrain is relatively hilly
